POSITION SUMMARY
The Director/Senior Director of Insights & Analytics will serve as the central analytics leader for our anti-VEGF ophthalmology therapy commercialization. This role is responsible for developing demand forecasts, building business insights, and ensuring that leadership has the data needed to make agile, informed decisions. The role requires hands-on execution, strong vendor management, and the ability to thrive in a lean biotech environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain robust demand forecasting models, including buy-and-bill dynamics, specialty distribution, and payer scenarios.
- Conduct market research and demand studies to inform launch planning, brand strategy, and market access decisions.
- Lead vendor partnerships for forecasting, data aggregation, and secondary market research.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leadership on sales trends, payer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Market Access to align forecasts with strategy and execution.
- Develop and maintain key commercial performance dashboards (KPIs).
- Support scenario planning for revenue forecasts pre- and post-FDA approval.
- Ensure all forecasting and insights activities are compliant with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in biopharma commercial operations, forecasting, or business insights.
- Strong background in buy-and-bill models and specialty biologics.
- Experience leading forecasting for ophthalmology or retina assets preferred.
- Hands-on experience in vendor management and analytics toolsets.
- Ability to build models and insights in a lean, resource-limited environment.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to present insights to C-suite executives and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of delivering insights that influence commercial strategy.
PREFERED
- Launch experience in ophthalmology or specialty biologics.
- Comfort working across U.S. and European markets.
- Experience with Agile or lean startup methodologies.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary range: Director $ 220,000 to 255,000 / Senior Director $260,000 to 305,000 commensurate with experience. Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package, 401(k) match, and additional perks. Base pay reflects skills, experience, job level, and work location. We balance this with internal equity and current market data.
